Airmail
A shaken cocktail featuring Light Rum, Champagne, Lime juice.
Ingredients
- 45 ml White Rum
- 30 ml Champagne
- 15 ml Lime Juice
- 15 ml Honey Syrup
Method
- Add White Rum, Lime Juice and Honey Syrup to a shaker.
- Add ice and shake until cold.
- Strain into a chilled flute.
- Add Champagne last and stir gently to combine.
- Optional garnish: orange or lime peel.
Story
A rum, honey and champagne drink that first appeared in Bacardi advertising in the 1930s, when airmail itself was the exciting new thing.
