Apple Amaretto Sour

Ingredients

• 45 ml Amaretto
• 22.5 ml Apple Brandy
• 30 ml Lemon Juice
• 7.5 ml Simple Syrup
• 1 Egg White

Method

1. If garnishing with lemon peel, cut the peel before mixing and set it aside.
2. Add Amaretto, Apple Brandy, Lemon Juice, Simple Syrup, Egg White (if using) to a shaker.
3. If using the egg white, shake without ice until foamy.
4. Add ice and shake until cold.
5. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.
6. Optional garnish: lemon peel and cocktail cherry.
7. Optional aromatic finish: squeeze the colored side of a lemon peel over the surface to release its oils; discard the peel or use it as garnish.
