Bacardi Cocktail

A shaken cocktail featuring Light Rum, Lime juice, Grenadine Syrup.

Bacardi Cocktail cocktail

Ingredients

  • 60 ml White Rum
  • 15 ml Lime Juice
  • 7.5 ml Grenadine Syrup
  • 1 barspoon Simple Syrup

Method

  1. Add White Rum, Lime Juice, Grenadine Syrup and Simple Syrup to a shaker.
  2. Add ice and shake until cold.
  3. Strain into a chilled coupe.
  4. Optional garnish: lime.

Story

A pink Daiquiri with grenadine. In 1936 the New York Supreme Court ruled that a Bacardi Cocktail must be made with Bacardi rum, making it one of the few cocktails with a legally binding recipe.
