Black Russian
A stirred cocktail featuring Vodka, Coffee liqueur.
Ingredients
- 60 ml Vodka
- 30 ml Coffee Liqueur
Method
- Pour the vodka and coffee liqueur over ice in a rocks glass.
- Stir briefly in the serving glass.
Story
Made in 1949 by Gustave Tops at the Hotel Metropole in Brussels for Perle Mesta, the US ambassador to Luxembourg. 'Russian' for the vodka, 'black' for the coffee liqueur.
