Blue Hawaii

Ingredients: 22.5 ml White Rum; 22.5 ml Vodka; 90 ml Pineapple Juice; 15 ml Blue Curaçao; 15 ml Lime Juice; 15 ml Lemon Juice; 15 ml Simple Syrup

A blended cocktail featuring Light Rum, Vodka, Pineapple juice.

Ingredients

22.5 ml White Rum
22.5 ml Vodka
90 ml Pineapple Juice
15 ml Blue Curaçao
15 ml Lime Juice
15 ml Lemon Juice
15 ml Simple Syrup

Method

Place the rum, vodka, juices, blue curaçao, and syrup in a blender with about 1/2 cup of crushed ice.
Pulse for 4–5 seconds, just until mixed and chilled.
Pour into a hurricane glass filled with more crushed ice.
Optional garnish: sliced pineapple, pineapple fronds, orchid.

Story

Harry Yee of the Hilton Hawaiian Village created it in 1957 when a Bols representative asked him to make something with their blue curaçao. Not to be confused with the Elvis film of 1961.
