Cable Car
A shaken cocktail featuring Dark Rum, Cointreau, Lemon juice.
Ingredients
- 45 ml Dark Rum
- 22.5 ml Cointreau
- 30 ml Lemon Juice
- 15 ml Simple Syrup
Method
- Moisten the rim of a coupe with citrus, then dip it in cinnamon sugar. Set the glass aside.
- Add Dark Rum, Cointreau, Lemon Juice and Simple Syrup to a shaker.
- Add ice and shake until cold.
- Strain into a chilled coupe.
Story
Tony Abou-Ganim created it in 1996 at the Starlight Room in San Francisco, a spiced-rum Sidecar named after the cable cars passing below.
