Corpse Reviver №2
A shaken cocktail featuring Gin, Cointreau, Lillet Blanc.
Ingredients
- 30 ml Gin
- 30 ml Cointreau
- 30 ml Lillet Blanc
- 30 ml Lemon Juice
- 1 dash Absinthe
Method
- Add Gin, Cointreau, Lillet Blanc, Lemon Juice and Absinthe to a shaker.
- Add ice and shake until cold.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
- Optional garnish: orange zest.
Story
The best known of the Corpse Reviver 'hair of the dog' drinks, printed in Harry Craddock's 1930 Savoy Cocktail Book with the warning that four of them taken in swift succession will unrevive the corpse again.
