Hot Toddy
A built cocktail featuring Bourbon Whiskey, Honey Syrup, Water.
Ingredients
- 45 ml Bourbon Whiskey
- 22.5 ml Honey Syrup
- 120 ml Water
Method
- Warm a heatproof mug with hot water and empty it.
- Add the Bourbon Whiskey and honey syrup.
- Pour in the measured hot water and stir until combined. Serve warm without ice.
- Optional garnish: lemon wheel and cinnamon stick.
Story
A Scottish warmer from the 1700s. The word probably comes from tārī, a Hindi word for fermented palm sap, carried home by the East India Company.
