Jack Rose
A shaken cocktail featuring Apple Brandy, Grenadine Syrup, Lemon juice.
Ingredients
- 60 ml Apple Brandy
- 22.5 ml Grenadine Syrup
- 22.5 ml Lemon Juice
Method
- Add Apple Brandy, Grenadine Syrup and Lemon Juice to a shaker.
- Add ice and shake until cold.
- Strain into a chilled coupe.
Story
An applejack sour with grenadine, popular in the early 1900s. Jake Barnes drinks one at the Hôtel de Crillon in Hemingway's The Sun Also Rises.
