Mimosa
A built cocktail featuring Orange juice, Prosecco.
Ingredients
- 75 ml Orange Juice
- 75 ml Prosecco
Method
- Chill the orange juice, sparkling wine, and a flute.
- Pour in the orange juice and gently add the sparkling wine.
- Stir once, lightly, and serve without ice.
- Optional garnish: an orange twist.
Story
Frank Meier of the Ritz Paris is credited with it around 1925, a few years after London's Buck's Club served the similar Buck's Fizz. Named after the yellow mimosa flower.
