Ingredients

• 35 ml Amaro Montenegro
• 20 ml Gentian Liqueur
• 25 ml Vermouth Bianco
• 5 ml Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto

Method

1. Add the Montenegro, gentian liqueur, bianco vermouth and Italicus to one of two mixing tins. Add ice.
2. Fit a strainer to retain the ice, then pour the liquid into the empty tin from a comfortable height. Return the liquid and repeat to chill and aerate it; this is throwing.
3. Pour into a rocks glass over a large ice cube. Optionally garnish with lemon peel.
