Scorched Earth

Ingredients

• 30 ml Mezcal
• 30 ml Cynar
• 30 ml Campari
• 2 dash Orange Bitters

Method

1. Combine Mezcal, Cynar, Campari, Orange Bitters (if using) in a mixing glass with ice.
2. Stir until cold and diluted.
3. Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.
4. Optional garnish: orange peel.
5. Optional flamed-orange finish: briefly warm the skin side of an orange peel with a lit match, then squeeze the peel’s oils through the flame above the drink. Extinguish the match and use the peel as garnish.
