Stinger
A stirred cocktail featuring Cognac, Crème de menthe.
Ingredients
- 50 ml Cognac
- 20 ml Crème de menthe
Method
- Combine Cognac and Crème de menthe in a mixing glass with ice.
- Stir until cold and diluted.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
- Optional garnish: optional Mint Leaves leaf.
Story
Brandy and white crème de menthe, a New York society nightcap of the early 1900s; Reginald Vanderbilt was said to be its great champion. Traditionally stirred, though many shake it.
