Ti’ Punch
A built cocktail featuring Rhum agricole, Simple Syrup, Lime.
Ingredients
- 45 ml Rhum agricole
- 7.5 ml Simple Syrup
- 1 Lime
Method
- Cut half the lime into wedges and muddle with the syrup in a rocks glass.
- Add the rhum agricole and stir.
- Add two or three small pieces of ice and stir to chill and dilute to taste.
Story
The everyday drink of Martinique and Guadeloupe: rhum agricole, cane syrup and a coin of lime, traditionally without ice. The custom is that the bottle goes on the table and 'chacun prépare sa propre mort': everyone mixes their own.
