Trinidad Sour
A shaken cocktail featuring Angostura aromatic bitters, Orgeat Syrup, Lemon juice.
Ingredients
- 45 ml Angostura Aromatic Bitters
- 30 ml Orgeat
- 22.5 ml Lemon Juice
- 15 ml Rye Whiskey
Method
- Add Angostura aromatic bitters, Orgeat, Lemon Juice and Rye Whiskey to a shaker.
- Add ice and shake until cold.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Story
Giuseppe González's 2009 drink uses a full ounce and a half of Angostura bitters as the base spirit, balanced by orgeat. It should not work, and it does.
