Tuxedo
A stirred cocktail featuring Gin, Dry Vermouth, Maraschino.
Ingredients
- 30 ml Gin
- 30 ml Dry Vermouth
- 1 tsp Maraschino Liqueur
- 2 tsp Absinthe
- 3 dash Orange Bitters
Method
- Combine Gin, Dry Vermouth, Maraschino Liqueur, Absinthe and Orange Bitters in a mixing glass with ice.
- Stir until cold and diluted.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
- Optional garnish: cherry and lemon zest.
Story
Named after the Tuxedo Club in Tuxedo Park, New York, the resort community that also gave its name to the dinner jacket in the 1880s.
